O.Favorsky is a famous scientist in applied gas dynamics. He has developed gasturbine engines for decentralized ground and space electroenergetics and gas transportation

Under his leadership there were developed and applied magnetic- gas- hydrodynamic, thermo-electric and thermo-emission electric devices for space-crafts

O.Favorsky is a chief constructor of gas turbine engines P-27-0300 and P-74-300 used in aviation, gas turbine units GTE-20 and GTE-30 which allow to replace gas boilers. The specific example is a successful implementation of aviation gas turbine engines at gas processing plants of “Gazprom” JSC
